Apartment hotels: An easy solution for temporary housing
The housing shortage in Stockholm does not just affect the capitals inhabitants. For a company with employees who are currently working in Stockholm, the pursuit can be both difficult and expensive. Many companies have solved this problem by renting hotel apartments at Part-Time Home.
The apartment hotel Part-Time Home have since 2012 helped both companies and individuals with temporary accommodation for a good price. The hotels located in Rotebro and Slagsta Strand are both close to the E4, which have made it easy for construction workers among others to get to work. The hotels are located within a few minutes walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and commuter trains. Housekeeping once a week is included in the price. The residents will also have access to laundry rooms, gym, parking lot sauna and a reception which are staffed during the day. All apartments have a kitchenettes and a bathroom.
Peter Håkansson, technician at InfraService is one of the hotels many guests. According to him Part Time Home is the answer of a growing problem.
– They solve the housing shortage in several ways, both for us who work here temporarily and to Stockholmers, as many of the builders who build homes are staying at the hotel, said Peter.
The growing housing shortage in Stockholm doesn´t seem to be close to an end. But an apartment hotel can be both the cheapest and easiest way for both Swedish and international companies, with employees currently working in Stockholm.
